alone
[an existential haunting]

Where is ALONE going to be held?

In 2013, ALONE took place in a former fraternal order temple built in 1924, on the edge of Downtown Los Angeles. This year, the location will once again be kept a secret. Participants will be sent an email one day prior to their ticket date with location details and further instructions.

What are the rules of ALONE?

Each participant must present valid photo identification and be over the age of 18, and must enter ALONE.

No costumes or masks allowed. No outside food/drink allowed, and smoking is not permitted at any time on the premises.

Please wear appropriate footwear. No flip flops, heels, or open toed shoes. The floor is uneven and you will be made to run.

ALONE reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject any person whose conduct the management deems to be disorderly or to talent, staff or other participants.

Absolutely no cell phones, cameras or recording devices will be allowed into the event. If you are found to be using such a device, you will be removed without refund.

Inside ALONE, you will be given instructions on where to walk, stand, sit, and specific actions to perform. Some areas you will be left to wander and decide where to go next, or how to get out. If you do not comply with all verbal instructions, you will be removed from the experience without refund.

Do not speak inside ALONE unless you are spoken to, or asked to speak by someone inside.

Do not touch the performers inside ALONE unless you are specifically asked to do so.

Smoking, alcoholic beverages, drugs, weapons or pets are allowed not on the property at any time.

How long should I allow for the entire ALONE experience?

We suggest allowing 2 hours from the time you arrive. This includes checking in, securing your spot in line, waiting for entry, the half hour experience, and some recovery time.

Entry is first come, first serve for your ticketed time, so the sooner you arrive and check in, the sooner you will be admitted into the experience unless you purchased the Front of Line ticket. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your ticketed time. If you arrive much later, your spot in line may be forfeited.

What do I need to bring?

You MUST bring valid photo identification. Other than that it's best to bring nothing, or as little as possible. You will be asked to leave your personal belongings at the front desk. Cell phones, cameras or other recording devices will not be permitted inside the event. If you are discovered to be using such a device, you will be immediately removed from the experience.

Do I need to be able to run?

Due to the extreme nature of our event, and to get the full affect of the experience, we suggest all participants should be able to run, jump, crawl, climb stairs and get dirty.

Can I wear high heels?

No flip flops, high heels or open toed shoes/sandals will be allowed inside ALONE. Sorry, also no costumes or masks are allowed. Please wear clothes that can get dirty, because you will get dirty. ALONE will NOT be responsible for your cleaning bills.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes, you will be asked to sign a Release of Liability acknowledging that you are at least 18 years old, and are willing to participate in an event of extreme nature.

Can I take pictures?

One more time... No cameras, cell phones or other recording devices will be allowed.

Is there public transportation near the venue?
