[an existential haunting]

Do I really have to go through alone?

Yes. Everyone must go through by themselves. No exceptions.

What are the rules of ALONE?

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

Everyone must go through completely on your own. Sorry, no exceptions.

NO ONE UNDER 18 ADMITTED. All participants MUST present a valid ID at the door. If you cannot produce a valid form of ID, you will be turned away without refund.

This experience is not recommended for audience members who are not in good physical or mental health, are pregnant, or suffer from vertigo.

Because of the immersive nature of this experience, you will be made to stand, run, walk, crawl, climb stairs, be physically touched, moved and handled by our performers, get wet, get dirty, and wear face paint. You will also experience moments of complete darkness, fog, strobe lights and other theatrical effects.

Audiences are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes. Absolutely no flip-flops or high heels.

We have a mandatory coat and bag check. Your items will be safely stored throughout the performance, though we cannot take responsibility for them. Please plan accordingly.

We reserve the right to eject any audience member from the premises due to inappropriate or disruptive behavior, at any time, without refund.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to the show to anyone who appears intoxicated, at the discretion of our staff, without refund.

As mentioned above, you might get dirty. We do not take responsibility for patrons' personal items and advise you to keep this in mind when dressing for the show.

Recording of any kind (photography, video, or audio) is prohibited inside of the experience. Participants who violate this rule will be removed without refund.

All electronic devices should be turned completely off, or left with your personal belongings. If any light-emitting device is found during the experience, you will be ejected without refund.

Where is ALONE going to be held?

In 2013, ALONE took place in a former fraternal order temple built in 1924, on the edge of Downtown Los Angeles. This year, the location will once again be undisclosed. Participants will be sent an email a couple of days prior to their ticketed date with location details and further instructions.

How long should I allow for the entire ALONE experience?

We suggest allowing 2 hours from the time you arrive. This includes checking in, securing your spot in line, waiting for entry, the half hour experience, and some recovery time.

Entry is first come, first serve for your ticketed time, so the sooner you arrive and check in, the sooner you will be admitted into the experience unless you purchased the Front of Line ticket. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your ticketed time. If you arrive much later, your entry will be delayed.

What do I need to bring?

You MUST bring valid photo identification. Other than that it's best to bring nothing, or as little as possible. You will be asked to leave your personal belongings at the front desk. Cell phones, cameras or other recording devices will not be permitted inside the event. If you are discovered to be using such a device, you will be immediately removed from the experience.

Do I need to be able to run?

Due to the extreme nature of our event, and to get the full affect of the experience, we suggest all participants should be able to run, jump, crawl, climb stairs and get dirty.

Can I wear high heels?

No flip flops, high heels or open toed shoes/sandals will be allowed inside ALONE. Sorry, also no costumes or masks are allowed. Please wear clothes that can get dirty, because you will get dirty. ALONE will NOT be responsible for your cleaning bills.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes, you will be asked to sign a Release of Liability acknowledging that you are at least 18 years old, and are willing to participate in an event of extreme nature.

Can I take pictures?

One more time... No cameras, cell phones or other recording devices will be allowed.

Is there public transportation near the venue?

The nearest metro stop is the Pershing Square Station which is about 6 blocks from our location. There are several busses that can take you from the station to the venue. We will also have a Lyft code for a free ride for first time users, which will be posted soon.

Will there be parking?

There is an entrance to a parking lot on Maple between Olympic and 9th.  Look for the sign with the pink triangle.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Yes, but you have to find us first. To get the full experience, we recommend buying tickets online. Sales close at 5pm the day of the show. If you have any trouble buying tickets on Flavorus, please contact us immediately. We are here to help: thealoneexperience @
